2020 Attis Mar Albarino
Grapes are from 50 yr old vines organically farmed. Handpicked and sorted and destemmed they undergo spontaneous temperature controlled fermentation. The wine is aged on its fine lees for 6 months in steel tanks and oak vats. It is then bottle aged for 6 months in the ocean at a depth of 10 metres where the cold waters of the Atlantic gently cradle it. This ageing under the sea is a fresh approach to ageing, avoiding the oxidation and obtaining an unique wine.
A fresh wine, with a great persistence, a very fresh acidity, fat and fleshy. Full-bodied, salty, underpinned by a lingering finish.
