2020 Black Chalk 'Paragon' Blanc de Blanc English Sparkling Wine

Based in the heart of Hampshire’s Test Valley, Black Chalk is an  English winery founded by winemaker Jacob Leadley. Focusing on traditional-method sparkling wines, they work exclusively with grapes from chalk-rich soils in Hampshire. 

Limited to 3,535 bottles, Paragon is made from select Chardonnay clones from our Upper Levels vineyard. A blend of 54% stainless steel-aged wine and 46% oak-aged, it has a generous mouthfeel with fresh, pure fruit. No malolactic fermentation and no fining preserve the Chardonnay’s natural character. Complex, crisp, and lingering.
