This biodynamic Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is crafted from meticulously chosen grapes and undergoes natural fermentation with wild yeasts before maturing for at least four months in both oak and stainless steel. Exhibiting a deep ruby red hue, it offers an intense bouquet of black cherries complemented by subtle toasty oak nuances. On the palate, it is moderately full-bodied, featuring concentrated black fruit flavours intertwined with cocoa, cinnamon, and vanilla, supported by firm tannins and culminating in a lengthy finish enriched with fruit and almond notes.
Produced by Cantina Orsogna, a cooperative managing 1100 hectares in the elevated hills near Maiella National Park, this wine embodies sustainable viticulture, with a third of their range following biodynamic protocols.
