2020 Domaine de la Madone Beaujolais-Villages Le Perréon

Le Perréon is a tiny village which may be rather under the radar and yes 10 other villages have been awarded Cru status but dont under estimate Le Perréon it has similar soil to Fluerie and some of the highest vineyards in Beaujolais. It also has some seriously old vines many over 100 years old. 

Its classic characterful Beaujolais light bright red fruits but layers of spice and more dark red fruits. Drinking well now but will age for years.
