2020 Domaine Fayolle Fils et Filles Crozes Hermitage Rouge Clos les Cornirets

Laurent Fayolle is turning this 10-hectare domaine into a leader of the appellation. He has expanded his cellar and is now able to move his wine by gravity. These are classically made wines. The magnificently sited ‘Clos les Cornirets’ lies in the same granitic line as Hermitage and has a profile to match. The vines used to produce this wine are 60 years old,

The palate delivers an impressive range of flavours. Rich and concentrated dark fruit notes, such as blackberries and black cherries are complemented by hints of spice and earthiness. Balanced acidity and fine velvety tannins give the wine depth and complexity.
