A classic 100% Riesling from Rorschwihr, where clay, marl and limestone soils give the wines both richness and mineral definition. The 2020 growing season produced beautifully ripe fruit while retaining vibrant natural acidity. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured on its lees before extended cellar ageing, it is a concentrated yet elegant expression of Alsatian Riesling.
Tasting note:
Bright lemon in colour, with aromas of white blossom, lemon zest, fresh pineapple and ripe stone fruit, alongside a delicate mineral and toasty character. The palate is concentrated and textured, with peach and citrus, fine acidity and a subtle saline edge. The finish is long, mineral and gently spicy, with excellent freshness.
A beautifully poised Alsatian Riesling, combining ripe fruit, mineral complexity and refreshing acidity.
