Massaya is a Lebanese winery with French connections run by brothers Sami and Ramzi Ghosn. In their early start up years they sought the support and backing of three distinguished French winemakers: Frédéric and Daniel Brunier from Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe and Dominique Hebrard, formerly from Château Cheval Blanc. The partnership with the Bruniers continues to this day.
Massaya Blanc is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Obeïdi. Grapes are grown in high-altitude vineyards on the foothills of Mount Lebanon. The wines have crisp, minerally flavours, white flower aromas and concentrated green fruit. The native Obeïdi variety normally used for Arak imparts a hint of easy going eastern style
