The L’Ostal Blanc Chardonnay is from vineyards in the sunny Pays D'Oc region of Languedoc. The Domaine is owned by Famille JM Cazes of Lynch Bages fame in Bordeaux, so they know a thing or two about winemaking!
This is a charming fresh and elegant Chardonnay with classic varietal aromas of pear, peach and citrus with flashes of the more exotic. On the palate it is fresh and clean with a touch of orange blossom and creamy notes. The finish is a nice balance between freshness and generosity.
Perfect as an aperitif but would pair well with grilled fish, light chicken dishes or creamy cheeses.
