2022 Black Chalk Classic English Sparkling

Based in the heart of Hampshire’s Test Valley, Black Chalk is an  English winery founded by winemaker Jacob Leadley. Focusing on traditional-method sparkling wines, they work exclusively with grapes from chalk-rich soils in Hampshire. 

Crisp, pure, and beautifully focused, this traditional-method sparkling wine has a bright and fresh character. A blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier it is aged for a minimum of 22 months on lees and a further 6 months in bottle. It has developed fine complexity and depth without losing its precision while a touch of oak (10%) adds gentle richness. .
