2022 Cantine Belisario, `Vigneti del Cerro` Verdicchio di Matelica

Cantine Belisario is a 300-hectare cooperative winery located in the Marche region of Italy. It specializes in producing Verdicchio di Matelica, which is made exclusively from the Verdicchio grape. Certified organic, the co-op has 24 vineyards that are carefully tended to and located inland from the Castelli di Jesi DOC. Due to the warm days and cool nights, the grape's aromatics are able to fully develop, resulting in a harvest that occurs as late as the second half of October.

The single vineyard 'Vigneti del Cerro' Verdicchio is sourced from vines planted 360 meters above sea level, providing a unique richness and depth to the flavor profile.
