The nose is full of red cherry, raspberry and a hint of violet. On the palate it’s juicy and finely balanced, with soft tannins and a clean line of freshness that keeps the fruit lively. Gentle spice and a touch of earthiness add subtle depth without weighing it down. The finish is smooth, lightly savoury and very moreish.
A lovely, easy Burgundian red — perfect with roast chicken, charcuterie or simple mid-week suppers.
