Françoise Feuillat-Juillot, daughter of renowned Mercurey producer Michel Juillot, grew up immersed in the family domaine and later studied oenology at Dijon University, while also earning a degree in Paris. Now, joined by her daughter Camille as a full partner, the domaine boasts 14 hectares of expertly located, mainly mature vines spread across 13 different premier crus in the viticultural amphitheatre of Montagny. Their sustainable approach to viticulture is meticulous and adheres to strict standards, including mechanical soil cultivation and hand-picking all grapes.
Les Crêts, their 1 hectare east-facing monopole lieu-dit, consists of 25-year-old vines grown primarily in limestone soils and is vinified in stainless steel. The wine offers a floral and zesty character with notable minerality.
