2022 Domaine Nicolas Maillet Macon Verze Blanc

Domaine Nicolas Maillet is a small, family-run estate with eight hectares of vines, now in its fourth generation. It's located in the village of Verzé, a cool, breezy spot with slopes that face both east and southwest. The soils here are rich in limestone and chalk, which help create some of the most vibrant and mineral-driven wines in the Mâconnais region.

The estate is certified organic and follows biodynamic practices in the vineyard. Their Mâcon-Verzé comes from 50-year-old vines and has a bright, fresh character, offering crisp stone fruit, delicate white flowers, and a touch of saline minerality.
