This delightful, light, fruity wine is made with grapes from the little known Genouillet vine. Historically it covered 7,400 acres of the region of Issoudun in Centre-Loire. The variety nearly completely disappeared due to Phylloxera last century. Its similar to Gamay with soft spicy notes and a nice acidity.
