A nice example of cool climate Sauvignon Blanc from the Banghoek Valley located between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. The vineyards are situated on the steep slopes of Simonsburg's southeast face, ranging from 320 to 540 meters above sea level. The vines thrive in thin, decomposed granite soils. Following fermentation, the wine rested on it's fine lees before bottling.
This Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant and zesty, marked by youthful acidity that guides the way to a palate marked by zippy gooseberry and fresh tropical fruit. It unfolds with distinct mineral notes and finishes with refreshing lime flavours.
