Quinta do Ameal is a historic winery that specializes in producing top-tier white wines from Portugal's very own grape varieties: Loureiro, Alvarinho and Avesso. The grapes are carefully handpicked and whole clusters are crushed using pneumatic machines. The must is then cold-decanted for a day before being fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats (14-16ºC). Finally, the wine is aged on the lees to further enhance its flavour.
