2023 Villa Le Corti Chianti Classico

Villa Le Corti is situated in the northernmost part of San Casciano, just 10 minutes south of Florence. The estate spans over 600 acres, including 121 acres of Sangiovese vineyards dedicated to producing Chianti Classico and IGT Principe Corsini. The region’s cooler climate and soil—characterised by more river stones and sand—impart a distinct elegance and finesse to the wines, contrasting with the fuller-bodied styles found further south. Harvesting here typically occurs slightly earlier, contributing to Chianti Classico wines that are generous, vibrant, and defined by bright, fresh red berry flavours.
