Cockburn's is renowned for producing structured, expressive Vintage Ports with depth of fruit, freshness and long ageing potential. The 2024 Vintage is a return to form that showcases the houses distinctive style: bold structure, vibrant fruit and that signature grip. Grapes are sourced from the house’s finest Douro vineyards, selected for their concentration and balance, and crafted in Cockburn’s signature style of power combined with precision.
The 2024 Vintage is vibrant and bright, opening with aromas of cherry and strawberry with hints of kirsch, chocolate and a hint of anise. Alongside the fresh fruit there is a touch of wild herb and rock rose. The palate is concentrated with flavours of red fruit and peppery spice with a ripple of black tea and tobacco amongst grainy tannins. A dry mineral finish accompanies Cockburn's signature grip.
