From the steep hillsides of Mango in Piedmont's Moscato d'Asti zone, G.D. Vajra sources fruit from their prized 'Riforno' vineyard, positioned at 420-470 metres elevation. The 2024 vintage benefited from an extended growing season, with harvest occurring between September 7th and 20th to capture optimal ripeness whilst preserving natural acidity. Gentle pressing and small-batch fermentation techniques yield a wine of remarkable finesse: delicately low in alcohol at 5.5%, it presents an elegant, persistent mousse alongside a captivating bouquet of crushed florals, apricot and candied stone fruit. The palate delivers refreshing juiciness with impressive complexity, culminating in a lingering finish that invites another sip.
