Generations of the Cattin family have been working the estate since the middle of the 18th century. Today, the estate is run by Jacques senior and Jacques junior and at 50 hectares is one of the largest family-owned estates in Alsace. The Cattin family farm using organic principles.
Harvested from early-ripening vines on silty soils, this Gewurztraminer is crafted with a gentle touch: cool fermentation and an early stop to preserve its naturally low alcohol. The result is a bright, fragrant wine, bursting with fresh, juicy fruit and lifted aromatics, offering all the character of Gewurztraminer in a lighter, more refreshing style.
