Les Caves Richemer is a cooperative founded in the early 20th century, based near the Mediterranean fishing ports of Marseillan and Agde. Their vineyards lie close to the Étang de Thau, a large saltwater lagoon famous for oysters, and the cooling sea breezes help the grapes ripen slowly while preserving their bright acidity.
Esprit de Vignes Piquepoul is a crisp fresh white wine. The nose is delicate yet inviting, with notes of lemon zest, white peach, and a hint of fresh herbs. On the palate, it’s light and zippy, full of citrus and orchard fruit flavours, with a subtle saline edge that hints at the nearby sea. The finish is clean and mouth watering, making it a natural companion for oysters, grilled fish, or even a simple summer salad.
