Produced by Bodega Garzón in the coastal region of Maldonado, this is a 100% Albariño shaped by Atlantic influence and granitic, rocky soils, which contribute freshness, salinity and aromatic lift. The maritime climate allows for slow, even ripening, preserving acidity and varietal precision.
Vinification is focused on purity, with fermentation in stainless steel (and some cement) followed by 3–6 months on fine lees, enhancing texture while maintaining a crisp, mineral profile.
Tasting note:
The wine shows a pale straw colour with green reflections, opening with aromas of peach, citrus and lime, layered with jasmine and subtle floral notes. On the palate it is light-to-medium-bodied, driven by bright, mouth-watering acidity and a clean mineral core. Flavours of stone fruit, green apple and lemon zest are complemented by a gentle saline edge, reflecting its coastal origin. Lees ageing adds a soft, rounded texture without compromising freshness. The finish is crisp, refreshing and persistent, with lingering citrus and mineral notes.
A benchmark New World Albariño, combining aromatic purity, freshness and coastal minerality, with excellent balance and broad food-pairing appeal.
