Produced by Château d'Esclans in the Côtes de Provence, the 2025 release marks the 20th vintage of Whispering Angel, a wine that has become a benchmark for modern Provençal rosé. It is crafted from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle (Vermentino) and Syrah, with fruit sourced from selected vineyards across the region and harvested in the cool of the morning to preserve freshness and aromatic precision. Fermentation takes place mainly in stainless steel, maintaining purity and a clean, fruit-driven profile.
Tasting note:
The wine shows a pale salmon hue, with lifted aromatics of fresh red berries, peach and citrus, complemented by delicate floral notes. On the palate it is light-to-medium-bodied and finely balanced, with flavours of strawberry, raspberry and pink grapefruit supported by bright acidity and a subtle mineral thread. The texture is smooth and precise, leading to a dry, refreshing finish with lingering citrus and red fruit character.
A refined and consistent expression of Provence rosé, combining approachability with clarity and freshness.
