Only one grape variety is grown but its expressed very differently across the four appellations of Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru.So we're delighted to invite you to our Chablis wine tasting hosted by Nick Fisher who will talk us through the region and the wines. Nick will explain why terroir matters so much in Chablis — from the famous Kimmeridgian soils to vineyard location and aspect. These wines may vary in depth and complexity, but all share a freshness and a strong sense of place that makes the wines so special.We’ll begin the evening with a Crémant de Bourgogne from a Chablis producer, before tasting our way through six Chablis wines, including Petit Chablis, Village Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru. Along the way, Nick will help us explore the different styles and expressions of Chardonnay.As usual, we’ll serve cheese and charcuterie sharing boards to round off the evening, along with a glass of something special to finish.It promises to be a relaxed, informative and very enjoyable evening — whether you already love Chablis or want to discover what makes it one of the world’s great wine regions.
