Champagne Guy Méa have been growing vines for over a century in the South West of the Montagne de Reims, in the Grand Cru villages of Louvois & Bouzy and the Premier Cru village of Valeurs-Mutry. In addition to making their own champagnes they sell juice to Pol Roger, Louis Roderer and Gosset.
Their Cuvée La Tradition comprises 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. It spends 10 months in enamelled vats and almost 3 years on the lees in bottle. Grapes are from several grand cru- and premier cru villages.
Pale straw yellow in colour it has a lively mousse followed by a fruity aroma with a little bit of toastiness. There is a freshness, elegance and structure on the palate and a balanced finish.
