Champagne Lucian Collard Champagne Extra Brut

The Collard family have been in Bouzy since the turn of the last century. The current owner Lucian Collard is the grandson of the original owners and is now aided by his god daughter Auriane. They have two hectares of vines dedicated to champagne, on in Bouzy and one in Celles sur Ource in the Aube. 

Their Extra Brut is a blend of 30% Chardonnay and 70% Pinot Noir.  The mousse is more akin to a pétillant with its gentle bubbles and less atmospheric pressure. Subtle toasty and nutty notes that develop further in the glass and lead to pleasing rounded finish.
