Here the nose is also quite distinctly earthy with notes of humus, underbrush and forest floor adding breadth to the very fresh dark currant aromas. There is even better density andpower to the delineated middle weight flavours that don’t possess quite the same degree of minerality but there is just better overall depth and length. This is a first-rate Gevrey villages and highly recommended.
