Corte Vetusto is a range of artisanal mezcals, made in a humble Palenque in much the same way as it was over 400 years ago.

The Espadin is cooked in a conical earth oven with mesquite wood for 4 days and then milled with a volcanic Tahona before undergoing natural fermentation and double distilling in small 250L  copper pot stills. It's meaty, savoury and broad on the nose with a delicious smoky, earthy, complex backdrop. Peppery, weighty and textural in the mouth with a lively interplay of smoke and agave leading in to a lingering finish.
