Faconnières has always been one of the signature wines of this cellar - it is under Clos de La Roche. A broader style of wine (than the Chambolle Sentiers), dry and pure on wild hedegrow fruit, a touch of blackberry. It is also calm and gentle in the mouth, although there is no shortage of intensity and length too, and juice all the way to the long finish.
