2017 Dr. Loosen Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling GG

Another wine from Ernst Loosen. This Grosses Gewachs is up there with the best dry Rieslings from Germany. A smell of recently fallen rain on warm slate hits you on your first sniff. Green apples and ripe apricots on the nose and then later on the palate. Great concentration throughout and a long, long finish. Will age beautifully if you can keep your hands off it now.
