Festive Wines Guided Tasting with Nick Fisher Saturday 14th November 7pm - 9pm

We taste a lot of wines throughout the year, and some stick in our minds as being just right for Christmas. Join us as we share a selection of those favourites, alongside some new discoveries.

Nick and Andy will talk you through wines that deserve a place on the Christmas table, bottles to open when friends drop by and a few to see you through to the New Year.

So, what will we be tasting? Six wines that cover a fair bit of ground: a super Sancerre, top-quality white Bourgogne, a wallet-friendly Bordeaux, an exceptional Barossa Grenache, a traditional Rioja and an amazing Brunello di Montalcino from one of Italy’s top producers. A mix of styles and regions, with plenty to talk about and hopefully a few new favourites to discover.

And we’re not stopping at the wine. We’ll finish the evening with your choice of a malt whisky, aged Cognac or tawny Port, served with a very festive mince pie.

It should be a great way to get into the Christmas spirit, with some lovely bottles, good food and a few ideas for your own festive table.

We’ll gather around our large tables and kick things off with an aperitif before settling in for the tasting, accompanied by our delicious cheese and charcuterie sharing boards. A relaxed evening of good wine, good food and a little inspiration for the festive season.
