A guided tasting with Burgundy Nick
Join us for a relaxed, indulgent evening focused on wines to enjoy over the Easter celebrations and beyond.
With the first shoots of spring just appearing and lighter evenings on the horizon, it’s the perfect moment to think about gathering friends, setting the table and opening something a little special.
Whether you’re planning Good Friday supper or Easter Sunday lunch, we’ll give you plenty of inspiration — including a few new arrivals alongside some seriously good classics.
Guiding us through the evening is Nick Fisher — aka Burgundy Nick — sharing insight into the regions, producers and vintages as we taste and compare together. We’ll start with an aperitif, then settle in around large tables for a generous, informal tasting. No rush — just good bottles, good food and time to enjoy both.
Good wine deserves good food — so we’ll be serving generous artisan cheese and charcuterie boards alongside the tasting.

🍷 2023 Domaine Girardin Rully Vieilles - Classic white Burgundy — citrus, orchard fruit and gentle oak
🍷 It wouldn’t be Easter without chocolate — so to start the reds we'll be pouring Boekenhoutskloof's The Chocolate Block from a Jeroboam! No foil wrappers here, just a seriously good glass of red.
🍷 2020 IDDA Rosso - From legendary Italian producers Gaja, this wine comes from the slopes of Mt. Etna. Fragrant, mineral and vibrant with red fruit and freshness.
🍷 2018 Domaine René Bouvier Gevrey-Chambertin “Racine du Temps” Très Vieilles Vignes - Concentrated old-vine Burgundy — ripe red fruits, spice and subtle earthiness.
