2018 Kendall-Jackson 'Vintner's Reserve' Chardonnay
In years gone by Kendall-Jackson's style of Chardonnay was very heavy on the oak. They still use oak barrels for their wines but these days the wine is more restrained, more stylish - and super value if you like oak-aged white wine. Buttery textures, aspects of toasted nuts and tropical fruit such as mango, pineapple and pink lady apple. We enjoyed it with seared scallops but it's great with a variety of seafood, chicken and pasta.
