Created from the original Montanaro recipe that uses the addition of fine Marsala to the base wine to give a distinct taste, perfume and amber-brown colour. On the palate Rhubarb and Gentian in combination with Absinthe, enhance the herbaceous-bitter notes of sweet and bitter orange ,myrrh and aloe and spicy licorice. Its perfect for cocktails but als0 a wonderful palate cleanser and drink in its own right.
