A stunning Whisky not only rare but tastes fantastic...
A rare and exceptional whisky honouring the legendary Roman Emperor Carausius, who proclaimed himself King of Britain in 286 AD. This distinguished Quadrilogy celebrates the fours: four single grain whiskies from four separate distilleries, distilled across four different decades, and matured in four distinct cask types.
The marriage of first-fill Bourbon barrels with refill Whisky casks and French Sauternes and Red Wine barrels creates a supremely balanced spirit. On the nose, rich and creamy toffee notes intertwine with ripe peach undertones and unctuous oiliness. The palate delivers elegant complexity - honeyed warmth, toasted nuts, and subtle stone fruit, with hints of peach and apricot weaving through.
Bottled at 61.5% ABV. Only 240 bottles available in the UK. A collector's piece of genuine rarity and refined character.
