Produced in Ambonnay, a Grand Cru village renowned for Pinot Noir, this Champagne blends 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Between 30% and 50% of the blend comprises reserve wines drawn from more than 40 different vintages, aged in large oak casks to build depth and consistency. With a low dosage of just 5g/L, the wine expresses the character of its chalk-rich terroir with precision and freshness.
Tasting note: Pale straw yellow, with aromas of lemon zest, pomelo, raspberry, blackcurrant and honeysuckle, alongside wet chalk and subtle liquorice. The palate is fresh and finely textured, with a creamy mousse, crisp citrus, wild strawberry and quince, underpinned by chalky minerality and a delicate saline edge. The finish is elegant, precise and persistent, balancing Pinot Noir’s generous fruit with Chardonnay’s freshness.
A beautifully composed grower Champagne, combining Ambonnay’s Pinot Noir richness with fine acidity, mineral tension and understated complexity.
