Produced by the historic Levi Serafino Distillery, the base alcohol used in this vermouth is white wine made from the Arneis grape, a traditional variety from Piedmont. the vermouth starts with this aromatic local wine, which is then fortified with grape spirit and infused with a blend of herbs and botanicals in the classic vermouth tradition.
Using Arneis as the base wine gives the vermouth a fresh, gently floral character with notes of stone fruit, citrus and almond. These flavours combine with botanicals such as wormwood and alpine herbs to create a balanced vermouth that is lightly sweet, aromatic and softly bitter. The result reflects the distillery’s Piedmontese roots, blending local wine tradition with the herbal complexity typical of Italian vermouth
