This style is matured entirely in seasoned oak casks, each holding roughly 630 litres. Over the course of many years, the wine gradually acquires its distinctive amber-tawny hue and develops the complex, mellow aromas and the smooth, opulent palate that define a true Tawny Port.
Taylor’s 10 Year Old Tawny is crafted from the house’s extensive reserves of cask-aged Ports, slowly matured in the cool, serene cellars—known as the lodges—in Oporto on Portugal’s Atlantic coast.
