2014 Vergelegen V Stellenbosch

The Vergelegan estate is renowned for world class, handcrafted wines. This wine comes from their flagship range and is a composed and elegant Cabernet dominated wine. The wine can be enjoyed on release but will most definitely improve over the next 20 years. Intense red and black fruit, with a green olive and graphite earthy character on the nose. Powerful yet elegant palate revealing the tip of a complex body of ripe red fruit, leather, tobacco, sweet spices, liquorice and eucalyptus with fresh acidity and a savoury finish.
