A classic Premier Cru blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, drawn mainly from Vertus with additional fruit from other Premier and Grand Cru sites. The grapes are hand-picked and blended across three consecutive vintages, with around 40% reserve wines aged in oak adding depth and complexity. Extended lees contact and traditional bottle ageing in the cellar give the wine balance and polish.
In the glass, it opens with fresh orchard fruit and subtle yeasty notes. The palate is poised and harmonious, combining Chardonnay’s finesse with Pinot Noir’s structure, before finishing clean, lively and reassuringly well-balanced. A very versatile Champagne — excellent with smoked salmon, creamy cheeses or light poultry.
