2024 Vintage Port En Primeur

The stars aligned for the 2024 vintage. The first universally declared Vintage Port since 2017, this is a landmark release that combines exceptional growing conditions with a new era in Port production.

After several challenging growing seasons between 2018 and 2023, marked by erratic rainfall and prolonged heatwaves, 2024 saw a welcome return to more traditional conditions in the Douro. Flowering took place in early May, veraison followed in July, and the harvest began in September, with each grape variety ripening in its usual sequence. Warm days and cool nights produced beautifully balanced fruit with excellent ripeness, fresh acidity and remarkable freshness

The result is an exceptional Vintage Port year – one that many believe is the finest since 2011, and a vintage well worth the wait.

Delivery Options

  • Duty Paid Delivery – Delivery to a UK mainland address. Please pay for delivery at checkout.  Duty and VAT will be invoiced separately (Duty is £27.56 per case of 6. VAT is charged at 20%.)
  • In Bond Delivery – Delivery to a UK bonded warehouse. Delivery charges may apply and will vary depending on your bond. You will be charged separately for this.
