This library release shows just how good South African Syrah can be, combining classic Old World polish with the bold flavour of the New World. Sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards in Porseleinberg and Goldmine in the Swartland, the 2016 vintage offers layered aromas and real depth. The warm, even growing season produced wines with impressive concentration, ripe fruit, savoury notes, and fine, reassuring tannins that set it up for long life. After a few years of careful cellaring, it now shows a more mature, developed character - yet it still has plenty of time ahead of it.
