2023 Château La Bastide Blanc

The Château and vineyards are situated at the very northern tip of the Corbières just to the south of the Minervois. It is typically based on Grenache Blanc, complemented by Rolle (Vermentino) and Clairette, shaped by a warm Mediterranean climate and limestone-influenced soils. Aromatically it shows citrus peel, white stone fruit and subtle floral notes, with a gentle herbal edge adding freshness. The palate is crisp and well-balanced, combining bright acidity with soft texture, allowing flavours of lemon, pear and mineral nuance to unfold cleanly. Focused and composed, it finishes dry and precise, offering a fresh, food-friendly style that prioritises clarity and balance over weight.
