2020 Boekenhoutskloof Syrah Swartland

Boekenhoutskloof was established in 1776 but it really only burst onto the scene in the late 1990's. Their stunning Syrah is sourced from two properties in the Swartland (Porseleinberg and Goldmine). The complex nose offers an array of dark berry fruits, black olives and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and round with intense notes of plum, allspice, liquorice and black pepper. 

For the last 25 years this has been one of South Africa's best Syrah's. Recent vintages have taken theses wines to another level.
