Ueberroth Vineyard is among the oldest Zinfandel sites in the Turley portfolio, originally planted in 1885. Located just a few miles northwest of Pesenti in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles, the vineyard sits high on steep, limestone-rich slopes where cooling Pacific influences can be felt, lending freshness to the site.
These ungrafted, head-trained vines are rooted in calcareous soils with naturally high pH, contributing to a wine marked by vibrant acidity and structure. Farmed organically and entirely by hand, the vineyard consistently yields fruit of both power and precision.
Fermented with native yeasts and aged for 15 months in barrel (80% used oak, 20% new; primarily French with a portion of American oak), the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve its full character.
Blue-fruited, noble, focused, racy, and classically textured, this Ueberroth is one for the ages. With copious dark fruits and piercing acidity, it’s ready to drink now but will age well thanks to the immense power & structure inherent to this wine.
