Goldmine is exactly what we hoped for coming from the same stable as Chocolate Block: generous, polished and full of easy charm. The nose is bright and inviting, with ripe stone fruit, a touch of citrus and a gentle floral lift. On the palate it’s smooth and rounded, with peach, apricot and a subtle honeyed note, balanced by a clean minerally line of freshness that keeps everything lively rather than heavy.
There’s a hint of spice and creamy texture from well-judged oak, but nothing overdone — just enough to add depth. The finish is long, warm and quietly luxurious.
A beautifully made white with enough richness for cosy evenings, yet fresh enough for year-round drinking. Pairs well with roast chicken, creamy pasta or simply a good glass on its own.
