Niepoort Bioma Crusted Port Vinha Velha (bottled 2014)

The Bioma Crusted originates from the Pisca vineyard, an ancient vineyard (vinha velha) that has been converted to organic viticulture and its low yields always result in amazing port wines that showcase the terroir and the vintage. In years where a Vintage Port declaration isn't possible, the wine is released as a crusted port 

Ready to drink now despite having hardly thrown any crust at all (it's unfined and unfiltered), but could equally be kept for many years. This crusted has a beautiful elegance to it, presumably from the influence of high quality components.
