The as Chiarli family are legends in Emilia-Romagna, they set up the first wine company in Emila_Romagna back in 1860. Cleto Chiarli set it up after his homemade Lambrusco went down so well in his restaurant in Modena.
“Lambrusco del Fondatore” is traditionally made, with natural bottle fermentation and the aged for another a six-months. Deep ruby red in colour, the nose shows notes of red fruits and blackberries. Lots of spice as well but loads of freshness. It really is a serious Lambrusco but it's delicoius!
