Quinta de la Rosa has been owned by the Bergqvist family since 1906, when it was gifted to Sophia Bergvist’s grandmother, Claire, as a christening present. Quinta de la Rosa was one of the first in the region to embrace the winemaking revolution of the early 1990s.
A fresh and elegant white from the Douro Valley, it is made from a blend of a Viosinho (50%), Rabigato (25%), Arinto (15%), and Códega do Larinho (10%), traditional Portuguese varieties grown in the estate's high-altitude vineyards. It is fermented in small stainless steel vats prior to blending.
Bright and aromatic, with notes of citrus, white peach and delicate floral hints. The palate is crisp and refreshing, combining ripe orchard fruit with zesty lemon and a subtle mineral streak. Well-balanced and textured, it finishes clean and lively, making it a versatile partner for seafood, salads and lighter Mediterranean dishes.
