Dirk Niepoort certainly makes some quirky wines and his Moscatel is no exception. This is a wonderful wine for the price. Exotic, extroverted and luscious, with tropical fruits, honey, orange, raisin and floral notes. Shows wonderful complexity with a riveting acidity and spiciness that keeps everything in balance. Wonderful length and depth.
